Retaining wall systems are not a modern concept. The first examples date from ancient times, like the Great Wall of China, and the old Ziggurats of Mesopotamia. These systems would use logs and roots as soil reinforcement.

In 1984, retaining wall systems became a standard system for conventional structures. Today, by using Anchor Wall Systems blocks with geosynthetic reinforcement, our engineers can design several kinds of walls, including sloped walls, canal walls, roads and road structures like bridges, landscaping etc. These walls, built with soils reinforced by geosynthetic gridding, can be as high as 20 mts.

Soplacas' wall systems have several advantages over traditional construction techniques:
• Faster than any other method;
• Economic;
• Blocks can be reused;
• Acessories with same finish and colours available.
